Our Projects

01

Smart Connected Factory

As the largest elastic manufacturer Stretchline wishes to embark on a journey for smart manufacturing. This project aimed at gaining production excellence and driving innovation for sustainable manufacturing.

We partnered with Stretchline Pvt Ltd to upgrade existing factories into smart, sustainable facilities. The project unfolded in three phases which included: Waste Management, Employee Activity Tracking, Real-Time Environmental Monitoring, and Real-Time Raw Material Tracking via a Smart Mobile Application. Integration of RFID and touch panels facilitated precise data input, departing from manual methods. Maintenance Management ensured equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and maximizing efficiency. This initiative not only promoted eco-friendly practices but also fostered a performance-driven work culture through innovative technology integration. Achievements included transitioning to a paperless automated system and seamless interfacing with smart connected factories, supporting sustainability. The smart connected factory application was developed from scratch, aligning with modern software practices. It will be implemented globally across eight countries, enhancing operations across all plants.

02

Digital Connected Factory

Aligned with Stretchline group’s smart manufacturing vision, their Covered Elastomeric Yarn Plant aims for manufacturing excellence, reducing manual operations, waste, and environmental impact.

Spearheading a transformative collaboration, we initiated a comprehensive smart factory and Industry 4.0 integration initiative for Stretchline Pvt Ltd. Leveraging cutting-edge technologies, the project delivered advanced solutions to optimize operations and enhance environmental sustainability. Automated waste measurement systems, integrated human resource management, real-time team member activity tracking, sustainability metrics monitoring, and resource utilization analytics were strategically deployed.

Automated waste measurement, powered by sophisticated sensors, enabled real-time monitoring and intervention to minimize waste. Human resource integration streamlined workforce operations through scheduling algorithms, performance tracking, and skill mapping. Real-time activity tracking provided insights for optimizations, enhancing operational efficiency. Sustainability tracking focused on energy consumption and carbon footprint, guiding decisions to meet environmental standards. Resource monitoring facilitated real-time tracking of raw material consumption, optimizing efficiency. Embracing Industry 4.0, IoT, AI, and advanced analytics transformed Stretchline’s factory into an intelligent environment, positioning them as leaders in technological innovation.

03

Sustainable Hospitality Monitoring

Enhancing smart tourism and sustainable measures to stimulate business growth, the project also offers intelligent insights on energy consumption for informed decision-making. Venturing into hospitality, we collaborated with Cheval Blanc Randheli, Maldives, to develop a system for monitoring the hotel’s resources and operations sustainably. The Sustainable Hospitality Integration and Monitoring System aimed to revolutionize the operational landscape of the hotel, merging advanced technology with industry best practices to set a benchmark of operational efficiency and sustainability in the hospitality sector. This comprehensive initiative tackled key aspects of resource management, encompassing energy, water, waste, renewable energy, and carbon footprint, with the primary objective of transitioning the hotel into a smart, sustainable, eco-conscious establishment.

04

Smart Facility Monitoring

To ensure efficient and reliable electrical power generation, we developed real-time monitoring and control mechanisms for power demand and supply. In collaboration with the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB), our firm led a comprehensive remote monitoring solution for key facilities including Thulhiriya, Mathugama, and Kollonnawa Plant 01 and 02. The project involved hardware setup and software configuration, extracting generator parameters via Modbus TCP protocol through the Control and Supervisory System (CSS). Data on fuel pump states and tank parameters were retrieved using Modbus RTU protocol and relays. Collected data was transmitted to local servers supporting dashboards, control, and analytics. These servers synced data with central servers at Kelanithissa power station control room via CEB-provided 4G connections, generating essential dashboards for central monitoring teams. This streamlined solution ensures real-time insights and enhances operational efficiency across multiple CEB plants.

05

Name of the project : Smart Waste Management System – Plastic Free Rivers and Seas for South Asia

The Maldives Ministry of Climate Change, Environment, and Energy sought to digitize waste management across all islands, including residential and industrial ones. Partnering with us, supported by the World Bank and South Asia Cooperative Environment Program, they aim to achieve this goal. The project will deliver various components, such as the smart waste management system, including waste tracking, vessel management, and a citizen app, ensuring comprehensive visibility and efficiency in waste management processes across the Maldives.

06

Production Process Monitoring System

Morex Industries, a pioneer in the production of unsaturated polyester resins, joined forces with our team to realize their ambitious objectives in smart production monitoring, aiming to enhance operational visibility and efficiency. This collaboration seeks to harness advanced technologies and data-driven insights to optimize production processes, ensure seamless monitoring of key performance indicators, and facilitate informed decision-making. By leveraging our expertise in smart manufacturing solutions, Morex Industries endeavors to establish a cutting-edge framework for real-time monitoring, analysis, and improvement of their production operations, thereby positioning themselves at the forefront of innovation in the industry.

07

Smart Weather Monitoring

The Department of Meteorology collaborated with our team to enhance the monitoring capabilities of their weather stations, focusing on aspects such as wind speed and rainfall patterns. The primary goal of this partnership is to develop a robust system for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting meteorological data to forecast future weather conditions accurately. By leveraging advanced technologies and data analytics, our collaboration aims to provide valuable insights into weather patterns, enabling better preparation and decision-making in various sectors, including agriculture, transportation, and disaster management.
